Wow, I had spyware and quit using my AMD 2500 computer for almost a year now. Simply because I had a new laptop and didnt care, now i am trying to reinstall but my cpu is running at 83 celcius. My CPU fan is running fine and the heat sink doesnt even feel that warm. It never ran too hot before. Any Ideas????

Thanks in Advance.
Kyle

I highly doubt the CPU temp is 83C....it would either fry or the system would lock up. Where are you getting the temp reading from?
