Comment: Hi folkes! Anyone out there with a fantastic AMD Athlon XP 2100 Processor? Just looking into the clock speed of the processor, will someone tell me the fsb of this processor, I can't seem to find this out. My mobo will support upto 2000mhz / ddr 400. Will this processor go upto maybe 166mhz / DDR 333 ? If so, I take it its just a case of changing cmos to 166 / 333 ddr , then the jumper on the board? Cheers!

Reply: (edit)No, it's 266. So it will run at 133fsb (x2) unless you decide to overclock. You may need to set a jumper/dip switch depending on the motherboard you have.

Reply: (edit)The proper (i.e. default) setting for the XP2100+ is 1733 MHz (13*133) As far as your system running on a 166 FSB, it may be possible, but depends on available settings on your motherboard and, more importantly, the RAM that you have installed.
