To any one who can help,

After installing ntune about a month ago it ran without any problems. I overclocked from 2.4Mhz to 2.6Mhz (3 hour session). However, ntune does not give the user any control over the loading of the overclocking file. On bootup or restart it thinks you want your system OC''ed everytime. This is not the case. I only need to OC for specfic programs. I tried renaming the sysinfo file ntune uses but it still OC'ed (must have a hidden file). So I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Ever since I did that ntune will not run when I click the icon or select it from the start menu. Only the monitor runs. So I tried all three ver (5.05.4700, 5.054.00, 5.025.00) and not one of them would run after installing with no obvious problems. It's not giving me any error messages.

Does anyone know why ntune would do this? And how can I fix it?

Any help would be appreciated.

regards,
Wayne

Yeah remove all the registry entries and files and folders of ntune.

Find them in your search by typing ntune.

Then go to the registry and go to find edit type ntune and hit enter. whatever comes up highlighted delete it and fit f3 until it highlights something else repeat this process until it says finish searching.

Thank you Cobra_z for your time and effort.

I did what you said (I was in the middle of it anyway) but have not installed ntune yet. Just too much going on, cannot get the 6 hours I need for the session. Should get to it in the next week or two. I'll let you know how things turn out.

All the best,
jpowerw
