I dunno if im on the right section.. so forgive me bout that. I have an Epox mobo EP-4T2A3 with i850 chipset and supports AGP4x graphics cards. I have a graphic card which also runs at 8x. Is there a way to tweak the chipset and/or the AGPslot somehow to run the at 8x?

Thanks in advance
George.

No ther eis no way to do that.

The agp slot on the board is a 4x slot and there is no way to convert to 8x.

Your agp card will work ok but it will clock back to 4X operation.

Sorry about that but the only way to mate your 8x card to an 8x agp slot is to change your mother board.

Yea but it doesnt really matter because the difference between 4x and 8x AGP is 1-2% better
