A7v333 with xp2400 athlon

have an a7v333 with XP2400 athlon and 512 samsung pc2700 ddr.

please help, i need to know bios settings etc or jumper settings, as its running at about 1.5g at the moment, i have messed around with the bios settings but anything other than 7 x 100 it will cut out (i have a noisy b---tard Volcano fan/heat sinc as well, and i have to have it at its highest setting. especially if im playing medal of honour or counterstrike

i only get the choice for 700 or 933 in bios for cpu speed, is this correct or do i need to flash or whatever

i have the same extract board and i am running amd athlon xp 2600+
its perfect running at 333fsb..
see the problem is you need to update your bios to the lastest version, 1016

cheers Ryan and Methos, flashed me bios with 1016, (now giving me 2000 and 2500 options)

and set to 15 x 133

now running at 2gig

hi,

running xp2400, pc2700 ddr, thermaltake volcano, and a7v333 motherboard, i have revision 1016 bios..

i had it running at 2gigs, but it kept cutting out under load, now it is running at 1.8, but seems to cut out every now and again for no apparent reason, temp never rises above 50c. so i am lost, please give us a clue to whats going on
