O.K.
I have A7V333 with AMD XP1900+.
With BIOS 1007 and 1008 versios my CPU temp was 50C-56C. After I upgrade BIOS to 1011 ver. my CPU sensor showing 42C-48C.
I know this is becouse of BIOS version but my question is:

what is correct and which BIOS version is showing correct temp. of my CPU????????????

If anyone have any experience with this MB and BIOS pls. answer me.

Thanks!!!

Well Bios temps are often not entirely exact but usually they measure what they were intended to measure to within 1 degree celcius. Now the difference between these two asus bios versions is that asus decided to change what the cpu temp was supposed to be. In Bios 1007-1008 the CPU temp is the temperature of the temp diode inside the cpu core. In Bios 1011 the CPU temp is an approximation of the temperature where the heatsink touches the cpu core. Several people on other message boards have verified that the 1011 temps do approximate this to within half a degree celcius.

Same thing happened to me, the new one is right, the old one was reading it right the whole time, but it reported it wrong. The new bios simply fixed the glitch.
