Hi, guys,
I don't know if is a problem, but I have a wrong speed/id in my PC. I am using: - Asus A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 - BIOS rev1007 - Athlon 2600+ 2083 MHz (333FSB) Barton (model 10) My BIOS is configured with 166/11.5x. With this conf I have a correct identification (XP 2600+) but the speed is 1909. If I use the correct relation 166/12.5 I get aprox correct speed 2075 MHz but is showed XP 2800+. Is this thing a problem or I have an incompability in my PC. I saw a lot of articles about this but nobody have exactly this problem. Tks all.

The 2600+ Barton core runs at 1.917Ghz. The Thunderbird core version runs at 2.083Ghz. Since you have the Barton it sounds like it is running correctly.

You have to remember that FSB numbers are rounded down...166 FSB is actually 166.6666666..mhz. so 11.5 x 166.67mhz = 1916.705 or 1917mhz

Tks, guys,
I just mentioned the speed that I found in my invoice. There is written Athlon 2600+ (2.083 GHz). Probably they didn't changed their system and because this I had this doubt. Tks you guys!!!
