Obviously you have a laptop or notebook.

"i have an mobile intel celeron 1400 MHZ 330
is that any good?"

It's a Celeron...how good can it be? I guess it depends on what you expect to be able to do with it.

"wat does the 1400 mhz equal to?"

Uhhhhh, 1400MHz?

"like how was Pentium M, u times is by 1.7 and u get the real processor speed"

Huh? It is what it is. Intel rates it's processors by clock speed...1.4 is 1.4, 2.0 is 2.0, 3.2 is 3.2, etc. If you're comparing a Celeron to a P4, then there IS a difference. A 2.0GHz Celeron is nowhere near as good as a 2.0GHz P4, but there are other things going on that make the difference...like L2 cache amount & FSB.

"also could i upgrade my computer by installing an Intel Pentium M chip or even an AMD mobile chip?"

You "may" be able to upgrade the CPU, but it will NOT accept any AMD CPU, only Intel

"wat would u recommend to upgrade my computer thatas cheap/?"

What is it that you're trying to accomplish? You may be better off just buying a new laptop/notebook & selling the old one

Don't.

Laptops don't have the ventilation necessary to move the heat generated from overclocking by any appreciable amount. Just leave it alone.

The only laptops that can take a little overclocking from a processor are normally your gaming laptops, like alienware laptops. Because almost all of their laptops are made for gaming and since it can produce a lot of heat from the powerfull hardware, it has special vents or fans on it to help keep the laptop cool. Other then that I wouldn't advise you to overclock your laptop at all.

Your Celeron M is better then a Celeron D processor on a Desktop, because of it's higher cache and larger FSB. Other then that it's still a Celeron and nothing more. Your laptop is only good for the norm and not for anything else.
