I am new to overclocking so I thought 3 input fans and two output should provide enough cool air with a silent stream cpu
water cooler mounted externally.I used the Ati tool and ran the 9800 PRO at
420/355 and my 2.8 Ghz Prescott at 3.6Ghz.
I will say my online gaming americas army
was really fun for a change till the 9800
Pro 256 developed permanent horizontal lines.Got another card and I am going to try an
AGP cooler from New Egg this time. I am on
my third Silent Stream water cooler which
somehow sucks in air and stops requiring
removal from the Processor 2 or 3 times a
week. Since I have and clear plastic case this is a pain, so I put the stock fan back in and it runs as 65 degrees at 3.2 Ghz OC.
I like the ABIT IC7G MOBO. Upgrade drivers.
I have Corsair 512 PC 3700 with air cooling.
Most recommend flashing the 9800 Pro to 9800XT but I don't know how to do it. And I
might get another meltdown at 1.65 V. AGP.
This VGA card is not fast enough stock for
online gaming, unless you like to lose.
I wish now I had spent more on a video card.
My conclusion, if you have to overclock buy
better cooling first.

Duck, I've been following (& correcting) a couple of your posts today, but this one pretty much confirms my suspicion.
My conclusion - you don't know what you're doing.
