OS: XP Pro
CPU/Ram: X2 6000 / 2Gb
Model/Manufacturer: K9N SLI Platinum
Comment:

I have a MSI K9N SLI Platinum MB, AMD 64 X2 6000+ cpu (Zalman 9500 HSF), Kingston HyperX SLI DDR2 Dual 2 Gb Ram 800Mhz(2x1gb PC2 6400) (4,4,4,12 @2.0V), OCZ 600W ps, all inside a Antec 900 Case. GPU is a G-force 8600gt gddr3.

I have a couple of questions. The ram says its SLI ready. How is ram SLI ready and/or how do I enable it? Dual channel I understand, SLI in regards to RAM I do not.

Second question is more general in the regards to what settings in bios seem to work best for oc'n the 64 X2 6000, with similar setups?

Thanks!

Makes sense regarding the SLI ram, how it is more stable and better tested...

Regarding the X2 6000+, I eventually found what I am looking for, a general guide frame for the ranges of OC'n. What I found was that on average, ppl can get em to OC to about 3.2 to 3.3 stable... which translates to adjusting the cpu v - to 1.50 v, and the bus to somewhere between 215 and 224.7 , give or take your sys stability and temps. (of course that is having the ram set as stated - 4,4,4,12, 2T @ 2.0V)

thanks again for the links.
