I noticed these 423-pin to 478-pin CPU Socket Converter kits, and was wondering if this kit will support a 2.6 GHz Intel Pentium 4 - 400 MHz processor (the maximum at 400MHz). It seems too simple. Has anyone tried this? Are there any known articles about this subject?

You may have problem mounting the heatsink and fan.

For the money you'll spend, get a $60 motherboard with less headache.
