If it isn't what it should be at what could be the matter?
Thanks

Id say those are really good scores, considering your ram is not great.
i have a

gig samsung 3200 400mhz ram at 460hmz
1 80 gig HD
audigy 2msi 865pe-neo2-ls
geforce4 ti4200 128 by msiand i got 1700 on my 3dmark scores. That is bull!
ya, no worries on your part. nice scores :)

In 3DMark03 you can press the following to find other systems to compare to:
Options
Online Browser
Project Search & CompareSystems with XP processors clocked between 1800-1900 MHz and with a ATI 9800 Pro showed scores between 5100 and 6100. I suspect all these systems are highly overclocked. I gave up worrying about not getting scores that high. If my score was a lot lower then I would try to find out why.
For comparison here are my scores:
AMD TB XP2800+
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe MB
1024 MB PC2700
PNY Verto GeForce ti4600

Only graphic cards with hardware support for DirectX 9.0 show good scores now. These include the ATI 9700 Pro, ATI 9800 Pro, and NVidia FX.

Hey well just for some good comparison. I am just slightly overclocking my amd 2600.. but not much.
SYSTEM SPECS.. Score = 5088
AMD 2600+
ATI 9700 PRO
Corsair Matched Low-Latency XMS 3200 Memory
Windows 2000 serv pak 4
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe
Nvidia Soundstorm
With settings for the video card set for high performance my score with 3dMark2003 is
5088

Cybertron,
That score is bullshirt. You can carry frames on your back faster than that. Sure you didn't lose a 1 somewhere?
John,
I think your 5088 is slower than for real too.
Lee,
Take that score with a grain of salt. You won't convince me I can run a 2950 with a Duron1300, SDRAM and a ATI Radeon 7200 and you hit 4046 with your system. Sure you didn't lose a 1 too?
Skip

SkipCox, those scores are 3DMark 2003 scores, not 2001SE, so they'd be naturally a lot lower.

To show you the difference I get these scores with the same system:
3DMark2001SE: 13725 3D marks
3DMark03: 1822 3D marksNot having a DirectX 9.0 card really hurt my score for 3DMark03.

Hey, the Radeon 9600 Pro is also a DirectX 9 Card.

I'm new to this but...
what were ya'lls graphic card setting on? I have a nvidia 5200 ultra and under my settings I can turn on and off anti aliasing and there's a slider going from Maximum performance to maximum quality. These should be discussed here too.

Hi,
Maybe I should not complain as my machine is pretty fast, but still when I run 3Dmark03 My CPU (AMD 2800+ 333FSB/512) comes out pretty bad!
My overall score is 5277:
And that's on the following config:ASUS a7N8X Deluxe2.0
AMD 2800+ 333FSB/512
Club3D ATI Radeon 2800 Pro
Maxtor 120GB HD (7200/133-8mb)
512 MB PC400/PC3200MY allround score is a little below what I expected, but the CPU test score = 326!!!
From what I've seen in other people's scores I should at least get a score of 500 on this section!?!
