I'm not sure which forum to post this in but I wanted to see what ppl think of my 3DMark score. I thought it was kinda low myself but I don't really know.
System:
AMD 64 3500+
MSI K8N Neo-4
Gigabyte GeForce 6600GT 128MB 540MHz core 1080MHz mem
Maxtor 300GB
1024 MB Dual Channel OCZ 2.5-3-3-73DMarks: 3499
Is it just me or is that slow for my system? Any help would be appreciated, OR the right forum that this is supposed to go in ;)

You don't mention which 3dmark program?
By the score I'm assuming 3dmark05.
Your score is about right, maybe just a tad low?
Tt Lanfire
MSI K8N Diamond
AMD64 3000+'Venice'
1gb pc4400
OCZ Powerstream 520w
6600GT
WDCaviar 160gb sata
WDCaviar 160gb sata;~}

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention that I was using 3DMark 05. So yeah I thought that sounded a little low... is there anything I can do to speed things up?

MSI NEO2 PLAT bios 1.8
WINCHESTER 3200 @ 2.5 MHZ
MSI 6600GT 580 MHZ GPU 1170 MHZ RAM
1 GIG CRUCIAL BALLISTIXS PC4000 DDR 500 2.5,3,3,8
2xsata 80 gigs raid 0try going to www.guru3d.com and downloading the modified nvidia graphics drivers im using ngo 1.77 drivers. They are allot faster. I would also 150% FULLY RECOMEND getting the Zalman VF700-CU gpu cooler as a replacement chech my clock freq runs 60 degrees load. Only thing stopping me going higher is i would need to do a volt mod to my gpu and i cant be arsed with that seems a bit risky to me.lol
With these drivers im getting 4038 in 3d mark05
AMD64 3200 Winchester @ 2.5 ghz
1024 Mb Crucial Balistixs tracer pc4000
MSI NEO 2 PLATINUM BIOS 1.8
XFX 6600 GT @ 550mhz, 1100 mhz ram
80 GIG SATA 80 PATA
DVD, CD ROM
550 WATT 30 am

Yes, you score is low becuase that Graphics card blows ( god bless it though, im using the same one) - the 6600gt has a 128 bit bandwith compare the 256 of today and only 8 pixel pipelines compare to 16 of today. the 6600gta speeds are fast, But 3dmark is a Powerhouse of a program, it test POWER, not really speed. get a 6800 Gt to see 200% better performance
