I don't know what these beeps mean. This is my first time with ECS. I don't know what to do please help me. Thank You for any help.

it could be the ram, ecs boards have a problem
with cheap ram. if your board is a k7s5a this may be the problem.

The board is a L4s8a2 with a sis648 and sis963 chipset. The computer was working fine until I restarted it and it didn't post. Thanks for any help.

make sure thermal compound isnt spread across the cpus cache chips if i rebooted from windows at first it wouldnt boot, found that the thermal compound had wet the warrenty sticker across the cache chips shorting the cpu out thus having no keyboard or anything on boot up but try testing differnt memory too.

I have an Abit IT-7 board, when it won't boot, i have to move a plastic doohickey over from pins 1 and 2 to pins 2 and 3 and wait 60 seconds and making sure all power is off (unplug your PC and hit the on button to release any residual power residing in the mother board). doing this resets the bios back to its factory default settings and it should boot. if that doesn't work, go to the motherboard makers site and look up the beep codes, they should tell you what the problem is and how to fix it.

The video card is probably not seated properly.
