My computer has been running extremely slow for the past month, and I have no idea why. When I open Taskmanager, it says that there is 100% cpu usage, and that the "SYSTEM" process is maxing out. I am not running any programs, and is slow from startup. I've ran adaware, and anti-virus software, but all came up clean.

Make sure you anti-v & spyware remover is up to date. Run them from Safe Mode. Don't just depend on AdAware...download/update/run Spybot-Search & Destroy too. And be sure to Immunize. to ad to jams not also go to start/run type msconfig and hit ok. Go to the start up tab and uncheck the items that don't need to be ran automaticly when windows starts up.
