Hi Guys! I'm trying to buy the Retial Kit A1545 by Thermaltake for my P.Celeron 478. Does anybody know if I would need some glue or compund to hook it up with my processor?? If so, is it included in the kit?? Thanks

Everything you need is included including the thermal goo. I myself have and would purchase some artic siver 3 thermal goo instead of using that cheap stuff included in the package. Although if you don't plan on drastically o/c'ing the stuff included will be just fine. Rub some of your thermal compound into the base of the heat sink then with a lint free cloth wipe clean (this fills the pores in the sink for better heat x-fer. Then apply a thin layer on your cpu core and attach you heat sink (don't attach one side then the other, place on parallel to the motherboard) so as not to mush all the compound to one side.

Many discussions have already been posted the last month or two in this forum on thermal paste vs thermal pad in some hsf's. A quick search would give you more answers than you will get in 1 post. good luck.
