When I connect my xbox 360 to the router via a network cable it's fine. However when I try to connect my xbox 360 through my computer it doesn't work. It keeps saying "Your DNS server can't resolve xbox live servers". It apparently can't automatically detect my DNS settings?
You need a Crossover (Xover) Ethernet cable between the XBox and PC. In XP you need to enable Internet connection Sharing (ICS). This is explained somewhere on the XBox website!
