First of all, The Xbox 360 is all the same apart from the Elite.

So whether you get the Arcade package or the Pro, they will both run COD4 or COD MW2.

The difference is their package.
With Arcade you'll only get a 256MB memory card and no hard drive. This means you won't be able to store much, only saved data. And that could fill up quite quickly.

With Pro you get a 60GB hard drive now, Meaning you'll have enough space for Saved data, downloads, music, movies.. etc.

If i were you i'd get the Pro. Because the Hard drive is quite useful. Memory cards seem to have died down.
But overall, both consoles will run Cod4 and Cod MW2 easily no doubt about it.

The Red ring of death is a hardware error thats quite common with the Xbox 360's. The Xbox Elite has a been upgraded slightly to minimize this but for the Xbox 360 it's still quite common.
I'd advice buying a brand new Xbox from the shop rather than a 2nd hand one and try getting a guarentee on it. Just incase.
It may not happen but there's always a chance.

Hope thats helped you!

Need help? Just ask. :)

Also, you have to remember. If you do get the red ring of death, microsoft will repair your xbox for free. I have had my xbox for 3 years and have had it repaired 3 times for no charge to me. The only problem is the wait while they fix it. My first two times I had to wait 2 weeks to get it back. But last time, less than a week. Also, if you do send it in for a repair, they will give you one month of xbox live gold free.

one last thing. if you intend to play on Xbox live you must have a
hard drive which you do not get with a arcade model. and i do
suggest playing on Xbox Live to get the full potential of these 2
games mentioned.
