The WPA key is held in the configuration of your router. You key in the IP address for your router and under security for the wireless it should be there

From a command prompt type ipconfig. You router address is the Default Gateway. Probably something like 192.168.1.1

Type that into the address bar of your browser. You will be prompted for a user name and password. You will need to get that from whoever set-up the router. Once you get into the router you will probably find that the WPA password is just a row of asterisks. In which case you will need to get that from whoever set-up the router.

I know this post is a couple of months old. But if anyone looks at this for answers, this method could save you time.

Allot of the routers now have a sticker on the underside or the back with the default key written on.
I have noticed this in the UK with BTinternet and Tiscali routers.

Yes, I have a BT Homehube router and the first thing I did was to change from the default SSID and password, something that I would advise everyone to do.
