I have a nintendo WII, not the new one one of the old ones. I was playing my man vs wild game yesterday when the thing started lagging so much I kept missing the jump from ledge to ledge.

Frustrated, and considering that I haven't even used the thing in months, I cleaned out all the vents with a small cloth (not damp!) and then blew some air through it thinking it was overheating. I also turned it on it's side. The disk hasn't even been used more than 3-4 times, the rest of it spent sitting in it's plastic case so it's not scratched.

Note this also happens on pretty much most games I have; someplace random in the game it will just lag. No explanation. Probably getting rid of this thing anyway for an Xbox or something, even if I'm not into console gaming.

It almost sounds like your wii is out of ram or something, i have no idea what the requirements for that game are or if the old wii can run it or not.

Unfortunately, Nintendo has been trying as hard as they possibly can to scrap the old Wii's support so I'm kind of lost.

Maybe just time to throw it in a box and get a bigger screen for my PC ;-)
