Wii console motion delay with new TV

October 20, 2010 at 11:45:58
Specs: Windows XP
I recently got a 46" either LED or LCD TV, I'm not sure which. The Wii console games now have a half second delay to wand motions. Is there some kind of adjustment? I've already tried upgrading all the cables at great expense.

HD TVs need to transform the SD signal of the Wii into something it can display. This process takes time, and some TV makers save cost by using slower hardware for this process.

In short, there isn't much you can do about it besides change TVs.

Where is the Wii "receiver" situated?

In the wii config you can change it to top or bottom of tv.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

It doesn't matter. Either position is off. Thanx for responding.
