Ok, so I need to figure out the best way to use my Seagate External HDD to play my bluray movies on my PS3.

The drive is NTFS, which the PS3 will not read. Could I partition like half (it's 750gb) and format it in FAT32?

I could rip to the NTFS partition, use mkv2vob to make .vob files under 4gb, move them to the FAT32 partition and then access them through the PS3.

Sound logical? Anyone have a suggestion?

You could but it's only going to read the FAT 32 part
