Specs: Windows XP
We just bought a new Xbox Slim and have been the videos streaming from our PC has been extremely laggy. We streamed video by sharing the video on our PC and it streamed perfectly on our old Xbox.

Please let me know what I can do to fix this.

I have tried to set up Windows Media Center to stream videos, but it is giving me the ehshell.exe issue when I open Windows Media Center. It is Windows Media Center 2005 rollout 2.

The exact error message is: common language runtime debugging services: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process id= 0x8ec (2284), Thread id = 0x43 (1084).

When I click Cancel to debug, the message is: "Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code 0x2(2). Please check computer settings, cordbg.exe !a 0x620

Your help is very much appreciated.

Can you clarify something? You said you used to be able to stream video to your old Xbox with no problems. Now you can't, although the only thing different is the new Xbox. That shouldn't make a difference, and it certainly shouldn't cause Media Center to crash on the PC.

So...did you change anything on the PC side of things? If so, what?
