Hello,

I have a PS2 slimline (with built in ethernet) and I tried connecting it to the interent so I can play a game. I tried connecting my PS2 with an ethernet cable to my PC (which is upstairs) as my PC is connected wirelessly to the router and modem which are donwstairs. The game came with the Network Configuration utility and went through the steps on the screen. My PC at the time was on and connected the to the internet but when the PS2 was doing the connection test it failed.

Do you have any suggestions that can allow me to play online in my room?

Thanks,

Fab093

Do you have a WEP or WPA password on your router?

If it's in WPA mode a lot of wireless devices aren't compatbile with it and you will have to swtich over to WEP.
