Hello. I am having a issue with setting up my wireless connection for my Xbox 360. In the past it has worked but as of now, only way of getting connected is via direct connect. I do the xbox test for wireless and I get stuck at IP Address in which is "Failed". My gateway is a Motorola SBG900 Surfboard and I am using the Xbox Wireless adapter. This problem started to occur when recently my computer had the blue screen of death. Any tips or info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Well the BSOD on your pc shouldn't affect the wirless connection to your xbox 360. Did you try reseting the modem, There seems to be a conflict between your wireless modem, and xbox 360 talking to each other.
You can either do these two steps.
Turn off the modem for 30 second then turn them back on.
If that doesn't work do a hard reset.
Hit the reset button on your modem.
If that doesn't work call their tech support.
product support is available via phone, 7 am - 11 pm CST. Please call 1-877-466-8646.
