Is it worth buying a usb dvr for the ps3

I was just wondering is it worth buying a usb dvr to use my laptop or my monitor to use them as a screen for my ps3, will it be the same than a tv screen, or the graphics will be delayed, my laptop is an asus g50 vt x5

It depends what kind of TV you are putting it on. if you are putting it on some old tube TV then obv it would be, but if you are trying to compare it to an lcd TV with HD ability then obv it wouldn't. Iron Sharpens Iron.
