How to dump BIOS image PS2

Specs: Windows XP Pro SP3, Pentium 4 HT, 3.00 GHz-x64-1 Gb. DDR-400

How do I dump the BIOS image from my PS2? I have a PS2 model 50001/N.

First, you need a method of running homebrew. The cheapest method is to use a swap trick (I temporarily removed the cover of my PS2 and its DVD drive to maximize success). This does construe a slight risk of damage to game disc, so don't use a game you care about. The details to the method are here; it basically involves copying the game disc, modifying it, burning it, and swapping it with the original and then running a program on the disc.

After the homewbrew launcher is running, you can put the PS2 BIOS dumper .elf on a USB Flash drive and run it (by navigating to "mass://" in the launcher.
