You can use any HDMI cable. So buy a $5 one instead of the Microsoft one. Web Design Barrie

One thing that you might have trouble with in using an HDMI cable that is not specifically made for the xbox is that is won't fit in with your regular cables which you will probably use for sound. If this is the case, you can just pop off the little plastic box around the xbox end of the cable. I know I had this problem when I had to hook up the sound to my stereo.
