1 Xbox 360 2 webstar modem 3 linksys wireless-G router 4 PC 5 fastest speed internet (15mps) Every time I'm on xbox live for a while it disconnects or lags out. Does this have anything to do with the fact my friend is hosting the game w/ a dsl connection and I have broadband, or is it the router... or my ISP's modem? also the pages on my pc load pretty slow. can anyone help?

If your friend has a terrible connection and is downloading stuff while playing the game then yes that could be the reason but if you play with other players do you find it's laggy. If so then i would look at your end. I would try doing a speed test from your computer. Just do a google search and you'll find one. i have run speed tests and they say i'm fine. my other freind who plays w/ us online doesn't drop out like i do. i have also plugged directly into the modem completely bypassing the router and it still happens. when i play with others online it varies. some i can't play with because of lag and others are just fine. neither of us were downloading anything and it was happening. but my computer loads pages slowly also.... i think it may be the modem or the router.... do you know of any routers that can handle 15mbps? also any that can handle me being on my xbox and someone else being on the PC? thanks
