I just went and bought Fallout and popped it in and it tells me I need to update the console. I tell it okay thinking that the info is stored on the Fallout disc. It then tells me it can't update my console and now I can't use the Xbox 360 for any games. If I turn it off and on, i get the same update not working notice. If I put another disc in, it tells me I need to put the update disc in. It does not say a HD is necessary on the stupid Fallout box. Is one necessary? What kind of scam is this thing. What the heck! Shouldn't the stupid thing at least say, sorry no update with out a hard drive. No instead it just gives me a purple screen saying can't update. I can't get to any other screen!

Is the XBOX connected to the Internet ??
