Recently I was happily playing my XBox 360 game, until I accidentally bumped the console and it fell over. As it fell it made a chainsaw-like sound, and when I took the disc out it had a perfect scratch, in a perfect circle on the disc. My question is:

Is there any way to fix this? I've heard about stuff like removing the plastic on a cd, thus removing the scratches but I don't know what to make of it.

Car waxes fill in the cracks or scratches. Just pour or rub the wax on a scratched area and wipe it off with a lint-free cloth from the center to the rim. Carnauba-style car wax will do the trick. If you don't have access to car wax, you can try furniture wax like Pledge instead or Baking soda toothpaste like Arm & Hammer which also does a good job.

Thanks a lot! The car wax worked like a charm, saving me a lot of money. I'll be sure to pass this useful knowledge on.
