Well my first 360 died and the warranty on my second one goes in about five days, I was wondering if you guys were in my position, would you take apart your 360 and put on some Arctic silver 5?
I have lots of experience working on pcs and have seen a few tuts on taking apart the 360 safely, I was just wondering if you guys would do it?

Call them up. As long as you are under warrenty while you are calling them, they can't charge you because you called them when you still had the warrenty and they are going by the date that you reported it.

Eh I'm on my second one right now and it's running fine, I was just wondering if you would put on some AS5 before problems start due to overheating because my warranty will surely be gone when the system fails.

Yeah you can, but you prob need to clean out the entire system which also will help greatly.

AFAIK newer 360's are fine. It was the first bunch which hit the shelves that had problems.
