Ok I was wondering what would look better for playing games, 1080i or 720P?

I hear some arguments over this and wonder what you guys think about it.

Progressive is always better then interlace. So 720p is better then 1080i. 1080i is below 720p in quality and you will notice that yourself when you notice that there is less pixilated squares when an object or a background is moving.

From what I was told the difference is negligible under 40" over 40 you want 1080p or 720p.

It depends entirely on your setup.

My TV doesn't support 1080p but the 1080i display is much better than 720p - it isn't even close.

Best advice is to try both and see what looks best on your own setup.
