It is a relitively compact Operating system.
It is often called the media operating system. It is fast and easy to use. As of now Be inc. is dead, all thier properties have been sold to palm inc. Whatever Palm decides to do with BEOS, is up to them. You can try BEOS Personal by going to www.zdnet.com and going to downloads and searching for it.
