I have a friend with a via ac97 soundchip.
When he installed BeOS 5 PE it does not work (there isn't any sound).
Is there someone who can tell me how to make it functional.

I suggest to remove Sound Blaster compatibility from BIOS. BeOS support AC97 from made.
