I have a small usb drive, flash disk, is there a way to use this in BeOS? In windows it uses the drivers for UMSD.

Mostly not. Some, very few work on Dano and less work on R5.0x. ITO made a USB mass storage driver. Search for it either on bebits.com or google. Get on beshare and ask for newer ideas or drivers.
