Do you have an AMD or Intel chip over 1.g hz? If so you may need to fiddle with a few things first. Do you have a BeOS only machine or other OS's on it too?

my cpu is a k6-2 333, and It will be an beos only machine.

I guess there are a few ways to get a R5 install from the PE. Check betips.net for making a free beos install CD if you have a burner. You might have to borrow a windows hd or linux hd and then do an install to your hd.
