Comment:

I want to use BeOS because the available audio and image tools available is what I have long awaited.

The only problem is BeOS isn't loading on my laptop. At boot up BeOS boot status reaches completion of the second icon before it freezes. I tried safe mode with all the stuff shut-off. Still did the same thing.

Any Ideas?

BeOS works fine on my desk top, but I want to take BeOS with me.

Are you trying that beos Max version? Or BeOS pe or what and how did you load it?

Are you sure it is a full pentium? Some of the first were not really pentiums.
Might try safe mode boot and see what happens. When you see "Loading..." Press the spacebar and choose any or all of the safe modes and see what is does.
