Hi

I have a small (or rather big) problem problem with the sound in BeOS 5 Pro... When i try to play a Mp3 file in the mediaplayer I get a popup message "no audiohardware found"... and yes I have a ac97 soundcard integrated with my motherboard Epox 8KHA+, but as i own a SB PCI128 i use that one... I have heard that there would be some problems with the SB 128 so I tried to use the ac97 but the same problem appears...

//reply soooonnn please...

My first suggextion is to disable the integrated audio, and continue using your SB PCI128. You can do that within BIOS.
Or you can unplug your SB PCI128, and continue using your motherboard's audio.

Has anybody else tried using two sound cards with BeOS? I haven't. It is a probable cause of problems, having two sound cards coexisting.
