i have adelphia powerlink cable internet. how do i setup in beos so i can get online? i connect through my network card to the modem. NOT a usb, thanks in advance

Hello ya i use a cable modem for my internet a RCA just go to the NETWORK setting's check to see that your card is there . Then use the setting for the card in there you'll just have to set
NETWORK INTERFACES check mark the (interface enable) and then set ( obtain setting automatically (DHCP)
Then in the Serviees just the ( IP forwording ) is to be check.
Then save and Restart network and that will get you on and going ...

I have BeOS 5 and I can't get connected with my cable modem, and I have the network setting set up like that. I dont know a lot about it, but I know i need to use DHCP. Any help would be good.
