Hi!
I have used Beos 5 free version with boot disk on a pc with Me.It worked well for awhile but now both Opera and Netpositive give segment violation error.
I have 256 of memory and 175 of the 500 wich beos uses free disk space.
Any help on this one??

Increase your disk cache as described here:
http://www.betips.net/chunga.php?ID=708

And also run the following command in the Terminal:

chkbfs -f /boot

Thank you very much for the tip, but I still get the same error.
On Opera
Thread name:Worker
Error:Segment Violation
Team Id 78 Thread Id 222
On Netpositive
Thread name:Consumer
Error:Segment Violation
Team Id:79 Thread Id:282
All the other programs I have work well,
it seems it's related to surfing the net and maybe a common file for Opera and Netpositive is corrupt't.
