Comment:

Is it possible to run BeOS PPC in SheepShaver OS X, with PM 6400 ROM or supported ?. The idea is to run BeOS on later Macs, say Dual G5 2.5Ghz.
I still have the BeOS PPC preview CD came with MacUser, can it be used ?.

Thanks.

Dunno. Might ask that over at begroovy. There are only a handfull of Mac Beos users.

I guess it could be done. What might be better is to try to emulate/virualize an x86 machine. There are a few ways to go. The main issue is more the version of BeOS you are trying to use. There is very few apps to run on ppc beos. Most can be compiled for ppc if you get the notion and have the skills.

It could be done with maybe sheepshaver. The way you normally need to boot beos on a mac is with I think macos 7-8.

I know this isn't a good answer but I rather assumed that a poor answer might be better than no answer.
