How do I install the 3rd party applications I downloaded off of www.downloads.com ? I tried just putting them into the c:\BeOS folder and running but I can't find them in BeOS

2. Is there a way I can open my other C:\ files outside of the C:\BeOS in BeOS??

Other than that I love BeOS!!!!!!!!! It rocks, and if you can please email me the responces!

Are you saying that you're downloading BeOS software under Windows. That's okay, because BeOS will work with FAT32. Under BeOS, what you should do first is: mount (your Windows partition name). To do this:
Right Click on the BeOS volume and over to Mount.
One of your choices should be your Windows partition.
Select that and click. It'll take at least 5 seconds before an icon appears with the name of your Windows partition.
From then, you can navigate your Windows partition using the Tracker.
Alsp, do keep in mind that BeOS doesn't do any "C:\" or "D:\" or any other name.
Okay.

Note: I'm only speaking for the Pro R5 version, not the free version.
