Very annoying problem. I can't repare a mistake without my keyboard (i have to hold down the shiftkey to confirm) so I always have to start in safe mode (in which the keyboard also doesn't work which makes the problem more annoying). I just need the kayboard to work well with BeOS. Can anybody help me (driver or something)? Thanks.

sorry i cannot help you - but i have the same problem: mouse works fine, but the beyboard freezes after the bootscreen of BeOS, also in safe mode. common tips to solve this are selecting a keymap for example, or setting the checkbox "No plug and play system" in the bios , but these things doesnt work.
anybody an idea??
thanks in advance

I think it is a motherboard problem though I'm not really sure. My problem is that I could not use my computer anymore because my keyboard seems to send in too much data (annoying sound upon boot up). Tried booting with floppy (dos boot up) and noticed that it typed several keys even trash at the prompt. At first I thought my keyboard has the problem but when I connect it to another computer it worked.
I have a thunderbird 800 cpu on an Epox board (VIA KT133A). My question is, should I say goodbye to my board or is there a way to fix the ps/2?
