I have an old NEC POWERMATE 1 ADVANCED PERSONAL COMPUTER H2020 I NEED TO GET INTO SET UP FOR BIOS. THE MACHINE HAS SAT FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME BIOS BATTERY HAS GONE FLAT. I HAVE TRIED ALL THE "F" KEYS ON BOOT I HAVE ALSO TRIED ALT CTRL ESC, ALT CTRL "F" KEYS NOTHING SEEM TO WORK. CAN ANYONE HELP?

tried delete? .... And.. it always says what key to press. And what was that about the battery? The only thing the battery do is to prevent all your settings to get lost if the power is unplugged.
Consult the manual or NEC support lines.

And please note that this forum is about BeOS as in Be Operating System. Not BIOS, Basic Input Output System.

And please drop the all-caps, its rude. Take care, gotta bounce :P
