Comment: I have a Compaq Deskpro 6000 with a Netelligent integrated 10/100 nic. I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to get the nic working in BeOS. Does anyone else have a working similar setup?

Reply: (edit)Carl I have a similar problem with a Compaq Deskpor EN both with the intel graphics controller (82815) and the NIC (Intel 100 Pro VM). Can't get either to work and have looked everywhere for drivers.

Reply: (edit)You asked about Network support for your Compaq Deskpro in BeOS 5.0. I have it working, I found an application on BeBits that modified a current driver to recognize the one in my Compaq Deskpro EN. First I would recommend using the "Devices" program in BeOS look for the PCI ID number if it is 2449 then you are in business! The program is called "Patch eepro100" run it then look in your network preferences and it will be there. http://www.bebits.com/app/2142 This BeTips search may be helpful if you need to try and use the Default Intel Graphics chipset. I haven't tried these yet but I'm in the process. (This is all for my work computer and I'm at home now.) http://www.betips.net/cgi-bin/search.pl?SEARCH=vesa&SORT=name As for Sound your on your own sorry! James Wall
