Hey guys, Im a windows expert, but i need some help with beos. Everything works great except my network card. I have BeOs PE 5 Max edition 2.1. I looked on bebits.com and downloaded the driver that are supposed to work with my card, but im still clueless how to install it. I have a netgear fa311 fast ethernet adapter. I also use dsl internet and wanna get it up and runnin. Any help would be appreciated!Thanx!!

Put something in Preferences-Network-hosts blank.
Don't use DHCP unless you have to.


As for the drivers. Never let a beos file unzip on any other OS. Never.
Unzip on beos.
Usually there is either a readme file or an install file or both.
If it is an install file then you can either use the Terminal (command line) to run the script (batch file) install or sometimes the author lets you use the GUI to just double click the install script.
See the read me file first.
