Network Cards for PPC/BeOS

Hi,

I recently bought an old StarMax 3000/180 MT which is running BeOS BEAUTIFULLY! However, it has no onboard NIC and I'm not sure what to put in it as I have never owned a PPC before. I see that it has a bunch of PCI slots, and I have a bunch of DLINK DFE-530TX+'s, but I can't find drivers for the 530TX+ for the PPC (just x86).

Any suggestions? Are my options as open as on the x86, or is it a much more refined list of NICs that I can use?

Thanks for any insight!

An asante card might work..as it happens i'm planning on installing BeOS on a Powermac 4400/200 (actually the very same model as yours, just with the 200 MH 603..it's the motherboard apple licenced to starmax for the 3000).
It had an asante PCI card in it, and i vaguely recall seeing something about that at Frizbe, which is where i'm headed to check through their compatibility lists for netcards..this is where i'd recommend you go as well to check..their BeOS compatibility list is pretty exhaustive, having been supported by private BeOS users' contributions, as well as other sources.
I don't recall if it's www.frizbe.com or just frizbe.com or frizbe.net, but it should be easy to find in a search for 'frizbe'...

You need a DEC based card for a powermac. IIRC a DEC12040 or DEC12041 10baseT card should work. Farallon is a manufacturer often mentioned, though I have no idea about actual models of card.
