I have a microtek multimedia keyboard .When i boot into BeOS The keyboard works fine if i use it constantly wihout a break of some 15 seconds.If i dont use it for 15 seconds the keyboard hangs.Then when i choose the keymap again the keyborads works fine for some time.But the same problem of hanging if i dont use it for 15 sec pLease help

Don't think it is beos. Try a new keyboard? They are free at stores or under $15 borrow one to test. Get rid of extension cables too.
