Comment:

I have BeOS PE5 installed and was wondering if there is any way to turn off the modem speaker to eliminate the noise when connecting?
I have not as of yet found a way. I don't see an option to do so anywhere in the preferences.

Thankyou,

FM

I suggest custom AT init commands. Consult your docs that came with the modem.
